Here is your final chance to get out those sexy bikinis and come frolic in the sun as we party with Guyana’s leading DJs and officially say goodbye to one heck of a summer!

The Bikini Fest is happening this Sunday at the Celina’s Beach Resort and partygoers can also look forward to the big Miss Beach Body competition in which only the finest and fittest young ladies will be competing! The winner, second and third place contestants will walk away with a rewarding cash prize.
This event is perfect for the entire family with bouncy castles on site for kids to have fun absolutely free of charge. There will also be tons of games for the entire family to enjoy.

Gates will be opened from 12 noon.
Music will be provided by Fusion’s Gully Ras and Diamond, Hits and Jams 94.1 Boom FM’s DJ Energy and Stereo Sonic’s Akilo!

Reggae Artist Alaine to perform at Miss Guyana Universe!

As eight young ladies compete for the Miss Guyana Universe 2013 title come October 6, there will also be a ninth beauty making an appearance on stage, however, she will be coming to serenade the audience with her soulful music!

This is none other than American-Jamaican singer and songwriter Alaine Laughton who is known by her first name.
The pageant will be hosted at Le Meriden Pegasus hotel and patrons can now look forward to a mind-blowing performance from one of Jamaica’s leading ladies as she takes to the stage on October 6, 2013 before one beautiful and equally intelligent young lady is selected to represent Guyana at the Miss Universe Pageant in Russia come November 09.

Alaine’s most popular solo singles are ‘No Ordinary Love’, ‘Forever More’ and ‘Sacrifice’. More recently, this songstress released ‘Bye, Bye, Bye’, ‘What a lot of Love’ and ‘Stay With Me’.
The contestants in this year’s pageant are Alicia Bess, Carla Browne, Tiffanie Nieuenkirk, Ayanna Whitehead, Kenwa Cho Quan Yi, Katherina Roshana, Shyon Hoppie and Carlea Chapelle
